It was a pleasure to witness the Buffaloes from Cape Coast (in the dark jerseys) defeat Madina-based Idas Sports RFC 19 – 9″. ZEN Petroleum is passionate about rugby – because we recognise team working skills similar to the ones that we use to create an extraordinary performance. We believe that by sponsoring Ghana’s Rugby Championship 2014/2015, we helped to promote important team working skills, respect and a healthier way of living to Ghanaians.

03.12.14   Road Safety Campaign – Drive Safe. Be ZEN.

The “DRIVE SAFE. BE ZEN” road safety campaign was organised on 3rd December, in Tarkoradi, Tarkwa and Bogoso by ZEN Petroleum to create awareness and to promote safer driving and the reporting of unsafe conduct on the roads.

With a telephone call, safe drivers can report unsafe drivers to the authorities (Police and/or Fire service) using a direct line displayed on stickers distributed at the events.

With the participation of the National Road Safety Commission, MTTU, The Red Cross, Fire Service, Highways Authority and DVLA, the GPRTU, Protea, Tanker Drivers Association and the Haulage Drivers Association among others, ZEN Petroleum has shown its commitment to sharing good practices with the community.

21.09.14   Donating to Tarkwa General Hospital

“If Tarkwa does well, ZEN Petroleum will also do well and if Tarkwa does badly our business will also be affected” – William Tewiah.

On 21st September 2014, we donated items such as Veronica buckets, hand sanitisers, detergents, surgical gloves and other items worth GHc 20,000 to the Tarkwa General Hospital towards their preparedness for Ebola and Cholera prevention in the Municipality.

As a locally owned company, we consider the communities in which we operate as our people. This does not only make our business more sustainable – it empowers us to empower them. Our plan is to cover each of our operational areas with our Z2C programs.
